This is actually what I wore to go shopping on Memorial Day. My shorts are old, but they're from J.Crew & I've linked a similar style. My sandals are Michael Kors, but I bought them for cheap at TJ Maxx last year.

I tried on these white shorts at Loft & loved them! They're denim shorts, but they're super soft and not so short that I feel funny wearing them at a child's birthday party. Plus, I think they make my legs look tan :) I really wanted the yellow shirt to come home with me too, but I exercised a little restraint. I love the sunny color & the semi-peplum fit though!

So this was my attempt at the off-the-shoulder trend. I loved this shirt from Banana Republic, but it was pretty pricey & it just didn't feel very practical for chasing kids around all summer. I think it'd be great with skinny jeans & heels though! I just wish I had somewhere to wear it!
Also, the white shorts I'm wearing in this picture are different than the ones I'm wearing above. These are more of a dressy short & while I liked the fit of these, they were a little bit see through.
shirt - Nordstrom (sold out) // sandals - Tory Burch // jeans - J.Crew
Ok, say hello to my new favorite shirt! I bought this from the Nordstrom 40% off sale, and I love it! The fit is perfect for my summer eating habits, if you know what I mean :) I'm wearing it with jeans in this pic, but I wore it with denim shorts too & it's looked great both ways.
dress - LOFT
Ok, this dress is like pajamas & I love it. It's so soft & flowy. Perfect to throw on to run errands with a pair of sandals, but easily dressed up with a few accessories for dinner & a movie too. I know I'll be wearing it all summer long, so thanks mom for the early birthday present :)
dress - Target // sandals - Tory Birch (old)
Another dress that feels like pajamas! This isn't as soft, but it's very comfy & I loved the military green color. It's cheap too, so go ahead & buy it in two colors! But... I can't find it online, because we all know that Target's website it the worst!
This romper is from two years ago, but I still wear it all the time! Rompers are a favorite of mine, so I just thought I'd share it again, since it is Friday Favorites & all!
