Our Formula for Happiness with Gerber Soothe

Today’s post is sponsored by Gerber® Soothe, which believes less crying for a baby means more smiling for all!

You see this happy little girl? Well, when it comes to food, she hasn't always been this happy. If you throw it back to the end of summer, she was actually quite the fussy little thing.  Don't get me wrong, we still loved her to pieces, but with every feeding came nonstop wailing. At the time, I didn't think it was serious enough to call it colic, but now I realize that colic caused by digestive discomfort is exactly what it was.

No matter if we had a name for it at the time or not, I knew that I needed something to calm my little sweetie down. It was clearly related to her feedings, so we decided we should start with what she was eating. After researching information on colic and exploring available options, we discovered that Gerber's Soothe products might be the right fit for us - as the offered an option for both breastfed & formula fed babies - and Livy was both at the time!

As we made the switch to Gerber Good Start's Soothe formula, we noticed a difference within a day. The probiotic found in both the the formula & the drops has been shown to reduce crying in infants, and that was definitely the case with Livy! She was less gassy, less bloated, and far more pleasant after each feeding. Gerber's promise is less crying, more smiling for all - and that was definitely the case in our household!

Livy is now 7 months old & we still use Gerber's Good Start Soothe Formula for her. It has all the nutritional value of other formulas, and also the added benefits of L.reuteri! If excessive crying & fussiness is something that you're currently experiencing, I can't encourage you enough to try it out! Gerber Soothe products can be found on Amazon - formula available here & drops available here

If you're currently going through this with your own infant, first know that it WILL GET BETTER - then, please don't hesitate to reach out to me! There are so many resources available & I'd love to help you in any way that I can!
