I Should've Been a Spice Girl...

I am a child of the 90's. I rushed home every afternoon to drool over Carson Daly on TRL. I know my boy bands - all of them. Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, NSync, BBMac, and even O-town. I wore baggy jeans in middle school & I could have been a Spice Girl.

You wouldn't know all of these things if you observed me teaching a lesson, saw me out on a run, or popped into one of my practices. But there is one place that I cannot hide me 90's inspired awesomeness... the shower.

I belt out tunes like no one's business. I'm not just talking Genie in a Bottle people, I know the deep tracks. If you're looking to sing Hanson's "Madeline" at kareoke, I'm your girl. Need a duet partner for "From the Bottom of My Broken Heart"? I'm the next best thing to Britney...

Lately, I've been using this as a microphone...

It's the perfect size for shower singing. It also happens to be amazing body wash. Yes to Blueberries is perfect for dry skin because it's loaded with Shea Butter to alleviate dryness. I feel like a cross between a marshmallow & Ella's butt after using it. I'm packing it for the beach because it can also be used as bubble bath & we just happen to have a huge soaking tub in our room!

If you're interested in packing it on your next vacation, using it as a microphone, or just giving it a try in  general make sure you click here to take advantage of exclusive savings! It applies to all of their scents, so if you'd rather have Carrots, Grapefruit, or Cucumber - you're in luck!

  2. Now of course the only better thing would have been if your husband had captured audio of you singing in the shower to go along with the post! :)

I've never been a shower singer (maybe because my preferred musical genres have no singing?), but my wife belts out stuff from the 70s through today depending on her mood - and always needs a mic-substitute! Even yesterday returning from the Waterloo outlets in Geneva she grabbed the external smartphone battery charger (a must-have for travel with smartphones) and used that as her mic!
