Pinterest Told Me To Link Up #2

Happy Monday! Today I'm linking up with Lisette, because it's Monday, and Sheaffer, because it's time for her second Get Pinspired Link Up! So, let's get to the outfits!

Plaid Layered with Cardigan
Inspiration from Pinterest

I've been loving this look on Pinterest. So simple, but still pulled together. I saw it as a perfect look for a day of shopping or a dress down day at work. I chose the latter option, as I didn't want to look like a total slob kabob last week, and got tons of compliments. Side note, I chose to wear it untucked because my shirt is a little big. If I decided to replicate this look again, I'd probably wear a shorter button down & tuck it in with the belt - just for a little more polish.

Chambray with a V-Neck

I absolutely love the versatility of my chambray shirt. The bad news is that I accidentally shrunk it, so I either have to wear it under something or tuck it in. The pin below looked like a perfect option to continue to get some wear out it.

I knew I couldn't get my chambray to stick out at the bottom though, so I added a white camisole underneath too. I would've worn brown heels to complete the look, but I wore it to Easter at my mother-in-laws, which is pretty low key... so, I opted for my brown flats. The colors were perfectly spring-y for an Easter celebration & I got tons of compliments on the look. I will definitely be repeating this outfit - possibly even with wide leg khakis & heels for work. I'm also going to be on the look out for a chunky gold necklace, because I love the pop it adds to the outfit!

I'll be back tomorrow with a full recap our our Easter... but until then, here's a little sneak peak!
