What I Wore Wednesday - Color Blocking, Stripes, & Casual

So, before I get started with my outfits, lets talk about my blog makeover! I'm head over heels in love with it. I worked with Lisette from Northern Belle Diaries & I cannot say enough good things about her. Not only did she design for me, she also provided me with a little blog coaching. She is talented & has a great blog too... check her out!

Now, as for what I've been wearing this week...

I really wanted to wear my red, wide leg pants on Monday - but Ella had other plans for me. Upon deciding that there was no saving them, I switched into my green skimmers from Gap. The black & white really balance out the bright green. The change in pants also meant that I got to keep my feet toasty in boots! That's always a plus in Upstate NY.

cardigan ~ J.Crew

When I got home on Monday I was dying to change into an "at home outfit." I still try to look cute for the hubs though, so I settled for yoga crops & a 1/4 zip sweatshirt. They're both insanely comfy, but don't make me look like a slob kabob.

Yesterday I decided to color block my outfit. My sweater was a hand me down from my mom because its a little short. To solve that problem, I layered a longer red tank underneath. I think it looks like a natural extension of the sweater. I also love my white jeans! Can you tell I'm ready for spring?

Last, Ella was really jealous of my neon last week. She insisted that I buy her this shirt from Gap! It certainly looked cute with her skinny jeans yesterday!
