Spinning & Salad the Size of Texas

I started off the morning with some spinning! The class was packed, which didn't surprise me because I think that my gym is offering this membership special...

I haven't been in awhile because I've been focussing on my running, but it felt good to be back in the saddle. We did hills, so I only logged about 25 miles, but I really cranked up the resistance. My legs had that jello-ey feeling after class. I love the feeling of a good workout!

After class, I got changed & headed to coach at a basketball game. I'm not a fan of Saturday games, but everyone was in a fun, goofy mood and I was high on endorphins, so it was a good time.

Eric & I went to Chili's for lunch. (Please note that I looked like a scumbag because I still hadn't showered at this point.) I always order the same thing at Chili's & I'm unapologetic about it. The Buffalo Chicken Salad is SO good and SO big. It has chicken with buffalo sauce, carrots, mixed lettuce, tortilla straws, and ranch dressing. While I know it isn't a really "healthy" salad, I still indulge in it regularly.

We ran a few errands after lunch, then I headed home to pull myself together before my high school BFF came over to play with Ella. Jess & I met in 4th grade and have been friends ever since. It's easy to explain why. She says things like, "Have I told you lately that you're the hottest mom I know?" That's why Jess rocks.

She also brought Starbucks with her.

We're going to spend the rest of our Saturday hanging out around the house & making dinner. The Vikings are playing the Packers, and since Buffalo never makes the playoffs we root for the Vikings this time of year. They're my dad's team and he is trying to brainwash Ella into cheering for them instead of the Bills. I told her to go for it, it'll save her a lifetime of heartbreak.

please note that the bib is as big as her in this picture
